The good news I have today is that Father Moses [aka Doctor Moses] once again proved himself capable of reviving birds and giving them new life. He nursed the little humming bird until it was strong enough to fly away. Several volunteers showed up to do some gardening, including transplanting the Saskatoon bushes, and watering everywhere, as it has turned hot again. My latest batch of pills arrived by courier this afternoon and I must take four of them each day, even if they appear to be the size of a quail’s egg. Davey came in for a visit but he had to hurry away to rescue someone who was stuck on some mountain side, and he would have to tow them into town with his big tow truck.
