TUESDAY 5 JUNE 2018

I will not apologize when I say that I arose late this morning, not that I slept in, but rather I lay in bed for as long as I could. Having regained much of my energy there really was not much that I accomplished. Yuri, the pest control man, came and checked all the “stations” inside and outdoors for rodents, then he sprayed the eaves for spiders, and dealt with ants. It might sound as if we live in a pest ridden area, but it is the country, after all, with thick woods behind us. The tree man cut down two more trees, making it safer for us during winter storms. It was Dima’s birthday, and so a meal was prepared for him [and us, of course], with a moleben served later. The large order of supplies for the Agape meals has been filled and it should provide us with enough for quite some time. If anyone would like to contribute to this cause, please feel free to do so.
