THURSDAY 26 JULY 2018

Each day seems to be the hottest day of the year, yet the hottest one is yet to arrive. It is on days such as this that we like to reminisce about the chilly days of winter. I am grateful that people have been watering the plants and the newly planted birch trees. Our visitors from Chicago arrived after having spent a day in Vancouver. They should be able to put up with the heat, as Chicago gets not just hot, but also humid. There is little time left before the feast of the Joy Of Canada and I hope that all is ready. I took Vladika Lazar to see his doctor this afternoon and, as we were leaving, his doctor said how pleased he is with Vladika’s progress.
