I felt proud of Vladika Lazar today, watching him walk in alone [with a walker] into the credit union and later into the pharmacy. He also walked up a flight of stairs to his doctor’s office, much to the amazement of the doctor who said that it usually takes a year for someone in Vladika’s situation to do that. Father Moses and Thomas painted a couple of large wooden crosses for the area where we have memorial crosses on the lower lawn. It was a pleasant surprise to see Vladimir arrive with three large bags of top quality flour. Earlier this week I had mentioned that we were out of flour and, lo and behold, word got around and the flour appeared. With three large bags, we should have enough flour for many months.
