INTRODUCTION
David Goa is a noted Canadian philosopher and Orthodox theologian. He
teaches comparative religion at the University of Alberta and is
executive director of the Chester Ronning Centre for the study of
Religion and Secular Society at the University of Alberta. Emeritus
curator of the folklore collection at the Provincial Museum of Alberta,
David Goa is known in museum circles across the globe for his creative
and successful exhibits, including the highly successful Anno Domini:
Christ Through the Ages production on the 2000th anniversary of
Christianity. Professor Goa is a member of the Orthodox Church in
America, curator of the Schlieper Ikon Gallery at the Monastery of All
Saints of North America and a prolific lecturer, teacher and writer
about Orthodox Christian theology, life and practice.
