I am writing this entry on Thursday, the following day, because yesterday, just as the Great Vespers service began, I felt ill and had to leave the church. Both Father Moses and I seem to have had ptomaine poisoning, as nothing else could have been the cause. It was the first time in my memory that I had to leave a service because of feeling ill. I am better now but poor Father Moses can still feel the effects of this episode. Let us just leave this day as a day best forgotten and move on to the next entry of this Daily Diary.
