Once in a while the person sent out by Home Care to help Vladika in the morning is a man and today a young man came for the second time. Little did he know what he was getting into in his discussion with Vladika, for I am certain that he thought that he was conversing with an old disabled man as he began his personal extreme views in politics and religion. That was precisely what Vladika needed to get into a debating mood. I am sure that the man had no idea of what hit him, as they say, because Vladika’s mind is very sharp. Besides, the man is not supposed to debate with patients. Vladika’s computer was troublesome all day and, finally, late in the afternoon, it began once more to cooperate. Andy brought us some winecaps [mushrooms] that were delicious once they were sauteed.
