This morning Father Moses and I drove to the Cancer Clinic pharmacy in Abbotsford to pick up my medication. I was under the impression that I would simply walk in and pick up the material, instead I was told that it would take at least an hour, if not more. Twice I asked if they could speed up the procedure as I did not feel well and eventually it was ready for me to take. On the other hand, there was no charge for this expensive medication which is why I constantly am grateful for the medical system here in Canada. Upon returning to the monastery, I had to drive Vladika for his therapy, so there was quite a bit of driving to do, not that I mind, for I feel most comfortable behind the steering wheel. In the cool of the evening I ventured out to water some plants, as there was no one else to do it.
