It has been even hotter today [not that I am complaining!!] and Vladika Lazar bought three more fans when Thomas took him for therapy this afternoon. If that does not cool us, nothing will. Even the water in the stream at the top of the monastery property is looking a little sparse. I doubt if any fish could survive in the hot water. I understand that Thomas found the air conditioner and installed it in the new church. Apparently it will be 35 degrees on Sunday so we shall need some cool air in the church. I experienced a slight setback when I visited my specialist today. He informed me that my cancer has returned and I shall need a series of treatments beginning in a couple of weeks. He is confident that all will end well.
