Some of the weather from Alberta and Saskatchewan must have spilled over into our part of British Columbia, as it has been chilly all day.  Still, as I walked by the workshop, I was overcome by an intense fragrance that came from the mock orange bushes.  How sweet and enchanting was this fragrance that I did not wish to continue walking.  If it were a warm day, I might have taken a chair to sit and enjoy this scent.  It is probably too late, but I broke down and bought some nasturtium and sweet peas seeds because there is something in the blood that makes one repeat, each year, the ritual of seeding and transplanting in spring, and perhaps that helps us keep on going.  Our constant helpers were here this morning and prepared a vegetable soup[ I think] and some stuffed eggs, much to Father  Moses’ delight.
