I hate having to repeat myself, but today was a beastly hot day, even worse than yesterday which is why we spent most of the day in the air conditioned cottage. I drove Vladika Lazar to see an optometrist, after which we went for a drive to Abbotsford to find the new address of the specialist I am to see tomorrow. After searching for more than half an hour, we gave up, because I had not taken the new address with me. Upon returning home I was able to locate it on the internet. Father Moses said that he had glanced out of his window and saw what he thought was a small bear, but instead it was a mother raccoon with two little ones. He claims that he has never before seen such a huge raccoon. No doubt it will try to feed on the berries and fruit but I am sure that there is enough for all of us.
