For us, today was a real scorcher! Fewer people were present today, no doubt because of the beautiful weather and the fact that it is Mothers’ Day which is so widely celebrated. I did mention in church that we also celebrate our Mother, but in this case it is the Most Holy Theotokos. We were pleased to see the number of Old Believers who were present, especially those visiting from Nikolayevk in Alaska. Later in the afternoon we baptized three month old Sofia who behaved bravely. After that I had little energy left and had to take a long rest.
