The church was occupied from eight o’clock in the morning until after twelve noon. As usual we had Matins, then the Liturgy, followed by the singing of Many Years for Vladika Lazar whose nameday it was the other day and for Leonty, as we commemorated the Martyr Leonty today. Then we had prayers for those who are about to travel, after which we served a brief service of thanksgiving and, finally, the monthly healing service. I stayed in the hall and visited with many people but by five o’clock I had to retire to rest.
