The neighbours spent much of the day in building a retaining wall on the other side of the main building where a steep slope was left looking rather wild. At the bottom of the slope is where some women had planted various berries which have done well, although, because the path is so steep, I cannot manoeuver it, so I have to rely on others to do the berry picking. Deacon Markel and Matushka Raisa came to help in cleaning. He worked on the altar, as it had become cluttered over the months and now looks new and fresh, including a new carpet that replaced the old one.
