MONDAY 6 AUGUST 2018

We survived another scorching day, mainly by not being outside, or at least as little as possible. A group of Georgian men came to work on the pavilion that they are constructing on the lower lawn where they, and others, can gather to sit and visit, and eat as well. I am sure that they will do a good job and that it will be well used. The care worker came in the early evening and told us that the traffic was so bad on our highway, that vehicles were line up for five or six kilometres, as this usually happens at the end of a long weekend. Most people know that Monday is our rest day and, as a result, I have not had a single telephone call all day which I do appreciate.
