MONDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2018

What a day this has been. Thomas come to inform me that people were sitting in church and waiting for me to appear. I had no idea why they had come, but I went to see them and had an interesting hour or more with them. Then, Vladika Lazar and I drove to town to purchase a few items for winter, such as a small propane stove to be used whenever we had a power failure. Vladika began feeling unwell and suddenly he told me to drive him to the hospital because he felt that he had another stroke. At the hospital, they quickly transferred him to the neurology department of the Abbotsford Hospital and I returned back to the monsatery, feeling depressed with what had taken place. David was ready to fly from Edmonton to help, and our boys, Andy and Davey, wete prepared to do whatever they could. Yet, before long Vladika phoned me to say that he was being released, so I had to pick him up at the hospital. It appears that he had a sudden and serious drop in his blood pressure which felt like a stroke. The advice he was given was to drink even more water, and to rush to the hospital whenever he felt that he was having a stroke. I hurried to thank Jesus Christ and the Theotokos for their intercession, and also to be thankful for our medical system where all this was accomplished quickly, professionally and at no cost to us.
