While Davey took Vladika Lazar to the Mission Recreational Centre where both of them worked out, I went to the kitchen to bake a prosphora for the Sunday Liturgy. As strange as it might seem, I rather miss the kitchen, although I am finding it difficult to find things, as others who clean up are not sure where everything is stored. I made a large pot of chili sin carne, that, chili without meat, using no specific recipe, rather using whatever was in the pantry. When it was finished, I took a taste of it and it was perfect [please excuse my lack of modesty]. Many strangers drive up to the monastery to fill their containers with water from the holy well, even though they do not attend services here, but rather in their own churches in the city, and such was the case today.
