We had to hurry this morning, as Vladika had a doctor’s appointment which proved to be satisfactory.  Tests he had earlier indicate that he has only an eight percent chance of having another stroke which is good news and he also was told that he can use any exercises he desires, meaning that I shall have to drive him into Mission for these sessions.  The last bit off  good news was that the doctor approved of Vladika beginning to drive again, at least in the near future. Perhaps you might recall the children’s verse: “Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.  All the king’s horses and all the king’s men, could not put Humpty Dumpty together again”. In V ladika’s case, he is being put together again, slowly but surely.  Because of a possible postal strike, we drove to Langley to pick up some medical supplies and this was possibly the longest drive that Vladika has had since he suffered the strokes a year ago, not counting the ambulance rides he had to and from various hospitals.
