I cannot explain what is happening concerning our weather.  It is almost February and even today I saw some blooming rosebushes.  This is unheard of at this time of the year.  Perhaps we will be punished later with terrible snow storms.  Meanwhile, let us enjoy this spring like weather.  Although few came for the service tonight, Olga and Mahir, recently arrived from Crimea, joined us.  We have all the containers filled with water for tomorrow’s blessing.  A number of people have come back from their tropical holidays and I am looking forward to seeing them.  I am always amazed at the number of people who read this diary and today I will send greetings to Adam in Illinois, Elena in Washington, and our Florida followers.  I was told this simple and amusing anecdote which  you might like.  An owl was flying through a thick forest at night, crying, “Oo, oo” when suddenly it crashed into a thick tree trunk and its cry suddenly changed to, “Ow, ow.”  Cute, is it not? With such merriment, I shall end today’s diary entry.
