The wind blew heavily throughout the night causing the outdoor chimes to ring out clearly and sharply. There seemed to be nothing to indicate that we would have a repeat performance of yesterday’s power failure.  I scarcely stepped out of bed this morning when we once again lost our power. At least it was after daybreak and light enough, but the thought of having to go through this once more, and so soon, was disturbing.  After a couple of hours it returned and how good it felt.  It is interesting to note that last night, after power returned, I suddenly felt so energized that I could not stop working until late after midnight, and even then, I could barely force myself to go to bed.  Tonight, however, I shall retire earlier.
